SHANNON BROWNE, aged 24, of Pearl Mill Close, Oldham, was given an eight-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, for persistently breaching the community requirement of a suspended sentence order made by Tameside magistrates in July, last year, following a charge of being in possession of a kitchen knife in Abbeyhills Road in June last year.

CONNOR SLICKER, aged 19, of Shaw Street, Royton, had a community order amended to include a curfew requirement with electronic monitoring for damaging a car and threatening behaviour.

DAVID ROBERT PAUL STEWART, aged 39, of Mackintosh Way, St Mary’s, Oldham, was given a two-month prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, for entering Winners in Oldham with intent to steal while on a conditional discharge order made in August, last year, for breaching a non-molestation order. He was ordered to pay £200 compensation, a surcharge to fund victim services of £115 with £85 costs.

MARVIN WAYNE COLEY, aged 41, of Helmshore House, Cowie Street, Shaw, was committed to prison for five months, suspended for 18 months, for assault by beating which included punching and headbutting his victim who required hospital treatment. He was also given a restraining order and ordered to pay £250 compensation, a surcharge to fund victim services of £115 and £300 costs.

SHAHRUKH BAYZI, aged 47, of Stanley Street, Chadderton, was given a three-month prison sentence for assaulting two female police officers on Christmas Day, in Ashton, which involved spitting and kicking. He was also ordered to pay £100 compensation.

CHRISTOPHER SAMUEL BOWERS, aged 32, of School Road, Oldham, was given a community order with an unpaid work element of 100 hours for assault by beating and three charges of criminal damage. He was ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £85 and £85 costs.

ABU MUNAHIM, aged 21, of Washington Street, Oldham, was discharged conditionally for three years and must pay £500 for damaging a police van.

ZIER AKHTAR, aged 36, of Vicarage Street, Oldham, was fined £120 and ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £30 with £586 costs for breaching the Environmental Protection Act 1990 regarding waste disposal.

CARLY JANE RIGBY, aged 30, of Belgrave Road, Hathershaw, was fined £220 after two bin bags were found in a rear alleyway on Belgrave Road. She was ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £30 and £356 costs.

FRANCIS LEACH, aged 25, of High Street, Uppermill, was fined £238 for using threatening or abusive words or behaviour or disorderly behaviour on Boxing Day, in Oldham, ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £30 and £85 costs.

ANTHONY TERENCE BAGULEY, aged 35, of Coalshaw Green Road, Chadderton, was committed to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 18 months, for stealing fragrances from Boots and TJ Hughes. He was ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £115.

MARVIN LIAM GREGORY, aged 32, of Sycamore Avenue, Chadderton, was disqualified from driving for 18 months and had his driving licence endorsed for driving while over the drink-drive limit in Chapel Road, Oldham, on New Year’s Eve. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £30 with £85 costs.

ANDREI SURDU, aged 31, of Park Street, Oldham, was disqualified from driving for 18 months and had his driving licence endorsed for driving while over the drink-drive limit on Ashton Road, on December 27. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £30 with £85 costs.

DEAN THOMAS WRIGHT, aged 32, of Craven Street, Oldham, was fined £220 for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. He was ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £30 and £85 costs.

LIAM ROBERT JEWES, aged 27, of Connington Close, Royton, was committed to prison for 16 weeks for breaching a restraining order made following violent assaults on a victim. He must pay £115.
