A WOMAN who was missing from Huddersfield has been found after a successful police appeal.

Emma Doherty, aged 33, had been staying with family in Oldham.

Ms Doherty arrived at the A&E department at Wythenshaw Hospital on Thursday, March 8 in pain, and in need of treatment.

But she left a short time after, at 8.05pm, and had not been seen since.

Greater Manchester Police have confirmed today (March 10) that Ms Doherty has been found.

The police previously asked residents to get in touch with any information as her family were extremely worried.

Inspector John Picton of GMP’s City of Manchester Division, previously said: "As people will imagine, her family are extremely worried about her and we are doing everything we can to find her but need the public’s help to do so."
