SCENE: Bardsley Street
A CAR which caught fire after being driven into a hedge is suspected to have been set alight deliberately.
Firefighters were called to reports of the blaze, in Bardsley Street, Waterhead at about 2am yesterday morning.
One fire engine was dispatched to the incident and the crew was in attendance for about 45 minutes.
Police are now investigating the matter.
