A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of false imprisonment and making threats to kill after a taxi driver is reported to have been threatened with a gun in Chadderton this morning.
Armed police descended on Burnley Lane after Greater Manchester Police received reports that a man was making threats with a firearm in a taxi shortly after 6.45am.
He remains in custody for questioning.
Police say no firearm was recovered.
