Dovestone fire.
FIREFIGHTERS from Oldham fire station tackling a small grass blaze at Dovestone Reservoir went into action to help rescue a woman walker who had fallen down an overflow well.
The incident happened at about 8pm last night (Monday, May 7) while the woman was walking round the reservoir. It is believed she may have suffered a broken ankle in the eight-foot fall.
