A MAN who suffered serious injuries following an attack outside a bar on Yorkshire Street is no longer in a critical condition, say police.
The victim, in his 50s, is believed to have suffered head injuries after hitting the pavement following an incident outside Harry’s Bar, on May 6.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said he is off the critical list in hospital and making a recovery.
A 52-year-old man arrested and questioned on suspicion of assault was later released on bail.
The spokesman confirmed no charges have yet been made.
A forensics team and police cordon was in place until the following day as investigations were carried out yesterday.
GMP say enquiries into the full circumstances are ongoing.
