SOME five fire engines were required to deal with a fire which ignited in shipping containers containing a large quantity of car spares and tools.
They were called to Pass Street, Oldham, at the rear of a warehouse at 2.30pm on Monday. They were on the scene for more than seven hours because much of the material was plastic.
No-one was injured. The cause is believed to be accidental.
