Generous-spirited Running Hill Clay Pigeon Club donated £750 to two rescue services who helped in a moorland incident.
The club, based in Saddleworth, operates not-for-profit and donates to local and national charities.
And Oldham Mountain Rescue Team and North West Air Ambulance received the surprise windfall after being nominated by the Crowther family from the Upperwood Estate.
The awards was made in recognition of their assistance to a visitor taken seriously ill on the hills.
