THE following cases have been dealt with at Tameside Magistrates’ Court.

ROBERT Dunne, aged 45, of Stockfield Mount, Oldham, failed to comply with a community order by failing to attend an induction session for a Thinking Skills Programme and an office appointment. He was subjected to new and varied requiremeents and must comply with any instructions of a responsible officer and attend appointments and participate in any activity as instructed by the officer for a maximum of three days. He must also continue original requirements by continuing drug rehabilitation.

SHARMAN Desmond Felix, aged 53, of Osborne Road, Oldham, failed to comply with a community order made by Manchester City Magistrates' Court by not turning up to carry out two unpaid work commitments. He was fined £60 with £60 costs.

MARTIN Craig Meggison, aged 37, of Ashton Road, Oldham, failed to comply with supervision requirements imposed following release from jail in that he travelled abroad without permission from his supervising officer. He was ordered to be under curfew with electronic monitoring for three weeks and must remain at his home address daily between 9pm and 5am. He must also pay costs of £60.

RUMELLukman Miah, aged 30, of Summervale House, Manchester Street, Oldham, failed to comply with a community requirement of a suspended sentence order made by Tameside Magistrates' Court not turning up for an office appointment and a Thinking Skills appointment. He was fined £40 with costs of £60.

MARCO Rossi, aged 45, of Rosebay Close, Royton, failed too comply with the requirements of a community order made by Manchester City Magistrates' Court by not turning up for two unpaid work appointments . He was fined £60 with £60 costs.

MARY Ann Wright, aged 36, of Lilac Grove, Chadderton, failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside magistrates by not turning up for two office appointments. She was given new and varied requirements and must have treatment for drug dependency under the direction of the probation service as a non-resident for six months and to continue with original rehabilitation activity.

PAUL Steven Hubbard, aged 33, of Lees New Road, Oldham, failed without reasonable excuse to comply supervision requirements imposed following release jail by not turning up for three appointments. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

JAVEDUL Islam, aged 21, of Main Road, Oldham, failed to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Chester Magistrates' Court not making himself available for the instillation of monitoring equipment on two occasions. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

MARTIN McDonagh, aged 26, of Alt Lane, Oldham, failed to comply a community order made by Tameside magistrates by not turning up for appointments with his responsible officer on two occasions. A community order imposed by Greater Manchester Magistrates’ Court was revoked and he was ordered to pay £60 costs. The original offence was causing £100 damage to the door of a woman. McDonagh was given a six-week jail sentence suspended for 12 months as a result of his “wilful and persistent failure to comply with the requirements o9f a community order. He must also carry out 90 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months.

CATHERINE Emma Mahon, aged 35, of Cheetham Street, Failsworth stole clothing worth £168 from River Island, after being given a conditional discharge for two prior offences of theft, including a £138 handbag from Debenhams and various items including a bag, aftershave, clothing and a passport , of a value unknown, belonging to a woman. She must undergo treatment for drug dependency under the direction of the probation service as a non-resident for six months. She must also pay £85 costs and £85 into victim services.

AARON Barry, aged 25, of Goodwin Court, Chadderton, has had an order continued for the seized cash of £1,040, believed to be recoverable property obtained through unlawful conduct.

NIKOLAS Redfern, aged 43, of Walkmill Dobcross must continue to forfeit a seized AP Automatic Royal Oak watch worth £20,000 and a Cartier watch worth £8,000 under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.

MARK Anthony Frost, aged 28, of Victoria Street, Chadderton, caused £400 worth of damage to the window and back gate of a woman’s house. He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months, and prohibited from making contact directly or indirectly with his victim except once when accompanied by a police officer to collect his personal belongings.

He must also pay compensation of £400, £20 to victim services and £85 costs.

DAVID Robert Paul Stewart, aged 39, of Mackintosh Way, St Mary’s stole various health and fitness products worth £158.23 from Holland and Barratt at Market Place, Oldham. He also failed to surrender to custody at court having been released on bail. Steward also commissioned a further offence during a suspended sentence for a prior offence of burglary, by entering WINNERS in Oldham with intent to steal. He was sentenced to three months in jail, and ordered to pay £115 to victim services.

RABIYA Begum, of Ward Street, Oldham, has been fined £490, ordered to pay £650 costs with £49 to victim services for managing an unlicensed house at 31 Ward Street contrary to the Housing Act 2004.

MOHAMMED Usman, of Lee Street, Oldham, has been fined £490, ordered to pay costs of £650 and £49 to victim services for managing an unlicensed house at 286 Heron Street, contrary to the Housing Act 2004.
