ASHTON and Failsworth MP Angela Rayner joined Oldham Street Angels on Saturday night to distribute food to rough sleepers and sofa surfers.
Ms Rayner, also recently elected deputy leader of the Labour Party, donned the group's distinctive orange jacket for her stint on the frontline. She has also signed up to volunteer as a care worker with Action Together.
She said: "I really enjoyed my night with the Street Angels, I met some wonderful people and loved volunteering with them. Thank you to all the team for letting me join them. It was great to get stuck in."
