Oldhamers can pick up a bacon barm and a hot drink while getting their car washed for just a tenner this weekend.
The initiative, launched by Diggle FC Under 14s, is part of fundraising efforts for a team trip to Shetland for a football festival.
On Saturday (April 20), the team of 11 players will get to work cleaning cars from 9am at Uppermill Cricket Clun - while their parents serve bacon butties and hot drinks to customers.
All in all, 45 people will be involved in the fundraising - and a GoFundMe page has been set up for those wanting to donate online.
Their five-day trip will see the team travel to Aberdeen from Saddleworth, before catching an overnight ferry to Shetland.
“I’m not sure it will be hot, freezing more likely,” joked Tom Matley, the under 14s coach whose son Max plays for the team.
“The weather is like it is in Oldham, but it can change all of a sudden because it’s a lot further north.”
The 37-year-old added: "It would be great to see as many people as possible coming down to get their car washed this weekend."
The car wash will run from 9am to midday with a car wash £7 and £10 to throw in a bacon butty and hot drink while you wait.
