A man in his 40s has been arrested after a warrant was executed at an address in Oldham, where a knife and drugs were seized.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have said that yesterday (Tuesday, April 30), officers from the Oldham district and Tactical Aid Unit executed the warrant at a property in Failsworth.

According to police, the warrant was executed as part of an investigation into drug dealing.

Police arrested a man in his 40s on suspicion of breaching a court order and he remains in custody, while a "large knife" and "a quantity of class B drugs were seized" at the address.

Chief Inspector Ian Partington of GMP’s Oldham district, said: “We will continue to act on your intelligence and the information that members of the public share with us is vital in our teams taking actions such as this.
