A police special constable has been charged with disclosing a private sexual photo.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) have confirmed that its officer Special Constable Matthew Salter, of Rochdale, has been suspended from duty and is due to appear at Minshull Street Crown Court today (May 1).
Along with charges brought against him for disclosing a sexual photo, the 20-year-old has also been charged with assault.
A spokesperson for the force said: "We have charged Special Constable Matthew Salter with disclosing a private sexual photograph and assault.
"SC Salter, 20, who is based in Rochdale, is suspended from duty and will appear at Minshull Street Crown Court today."
