THE Oldham versus Hemel Stags game, scheduled for tomorrow (Sunday), was called off this morning after a pitch inspection.
Most of the pitch is covered by frozen snow, as are spectator areas of the ground, entrances, walkways and parts of the car park.
"The pitch is unplayable, but apart from that we have to consider the safety of spectators, match officials and players. To call it off was a no-brainer," said club chairman Chris Hamilton.
A new date has not yet been arranged.
