As part of the build-up to the big game, which rekindles memories of the great Challenge Cup win at Hull KR two years ago, the iconic Challenge Cup itself will be on show at the Vestacare Stadium between 6pm and 7.30pm on Thursday, April 19, while the Oldham players are training.

Fans can have photographs taken with the famous trophy and also take the opportunity to watch the players preparing for their big challenge against the Rovers' Super League stars.

"It isn't every day that fans can look at the Challenge Cup at close quarters, or have pictures taken with it, so we are hoping as many as possible will get down on Thursday night," said chairman Chris Hamilton.
