CLUB STATEMENT: Corney out
LATICS have today revealed that Simon Corney is no longer chairman of the football club.
A short statement read: “Oldham Athletic can today announce changes at the senior level of the football club.
“Following today’s shareholder meeting, Simon Corney has been removed from his position on the board of directors.”
The club is not making any further comment at this stage.
Meanwhile, Richie Wellens looks set to stay on as manager despite Athletic’s relegation to League Two.
