DANNY Bridge's late hat-trick highlighted Oldham's 44-12 win against London Skolars - the Roughyeds' eighth league win in a row.

Man-of-the-match second-rower Bridge and tearaway Danny Langtree, who started in the second-row and soon switched to loose-forward, were outstanding forwards for the home side.

Under-rated Skolars twice cut back the home lead to six points and it wasn't until the last 20 minutes that Scott Naylor's men raced out of sight with the Bridge hat-trick, further tries by Langtree and Jack Holmes and three conversions by Paul Crook.

Oldham led 18-6 at half-time with converted tries by Dave Hewitt, the impressive Zack McComb and hooker Matty Wilkinson.

Skolars cut Oldham's lead to 12-6 with a length-of-the-field interception try by winger Illess Macani and later to 18-12 when Eddie Mbaraga received from player-coach Jermaine Coleman to cross for a try to which Neil Thorman added his second conversion.
