GOALKEEPER Johny Placide's Boundary Park career is over after he left the club by mutual consent.
The writing was on the wall for the Haitian stopper when manager Frankie Bunn swooped for Leicester goalkeeper Daniel Iversen on a season-long loan.
Placide didn't feature in the last three friendlies with Zeus de la Paz providing cover on the bench.
After initially impressing under then-boss Richie Wellens, Placide came in for criticism towards the end of last season after some erratic displays.
Iversen, 21, has been capped by Denmark at under-21 level and was part of the Foxes' under-23 development side last season.
Latics' League Two campaign gets under way at home to MK Dons tomorrow (3pm).
