OLDHAM ATHLETIC suffered their first defeat since the opening day of the season after a narrow 0-1 defeat to fellow in form Newport County. The visitors got their winner on 69 minutes when Dan Butler threaded an inch-perfect through ball to Bakinson down the left who fired low into the corner to win the game
