ATHLETIC’S scheduled League Two fixture at Notts County on Saturday week, has been postponed due to international call-ups.
Goalkeeper Daniel Iversen is on Denmark under-21 duty, likewise defender Cameron Dummigan with Northern Ireland, while wideman Gevaro Nepomuceno will represent Curacao at full international level.
The Meadow Lane clash will now take place on Tuesday, November 6 (7.45pm) meaning Latics will remain unbeaten away from home in the league until – at least – October 27, when they visit Northampton Town at Sixfields.
Frankie Bunn’s men have conceded the fewest goals on their travels in all four divisions – it’s just one so far, in the 1-1 draw at Forest Green Rovers on August 11.
There have been victories at Morecambe (2-0), Grimsby (3-0) and goalless draws at Yeovil, Swindon and Mansfield.
