VAL FARROW Aged 75, at Dr.Kershaw's Hospice in the very early hours of Friday May 24th. Beloved wife of the late John, devoted mother to Stephen and Nick, much loved grandmother of Nathan, Isla and Henry, treasured sister of Gillian, dear honorary sister to Margaret, a teacher and friend to many more. Funeral service will take place at Uppermill Methodist Church on Thursday 6th June at 1pm followed by interment at Saddleworth Parish Council Cemetery. Fond memories of Val when she taught at Clarksfield Primary School when my children attended and as a work colleague at Fitton Hill Primary School where she was Head Teacher whilst I was employed as one of the support staff. A dedicated teacher and Head Teacher who lived for the children in her care and a well respected leader to those who worked with her. Rest in peace Val. xx
