WRIGHT PLATT Passed away on 2nd March 2020 aged 79 years. Dear husband of Pamela, much loved dad of Wendy and Anthony, loving grandad of Ben, James, Thomas, Natalie, Nathaniel, Bobby & Mia. Service at Trinity Methodist Church, Royton, on Friday 20th March 2020 at 12:00 noon prior to committal at Oldham Crematorium, Hollinwood. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the British Heart Foundation or The Stroke Association C/O Hedley Jackson Funeral Directors, 48/52 Rochdale Road, Shaw, Oldham, OL2 7SA. I am so sorry to hear that Wright Platt has passed away. His beautiful painting of a hawthorn tree in winter will always be treasured by our family. I had just seen the notice after an internet search to find the artist and saddened to see this information. I send my condolences to his family.

Only just heard about Wright. I am so very sorry Pam my love to you and all your family. I knew Wright not only from school but from Sunday School when we were about 7 years old. Take care in this current situation XXXXX
