ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984, SECTION 14(1) THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (MOUNT ROAD, PRESTWICH) TEMPORARY CLOSURE ORDER 2019 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from proceeding along:-
Mount Road, Prestwich from its junction with Peveril Close to its junction with Heywood Road - Temporary Road Closure
The closure is in place to enable resurfacing of carriageway in a safe and practical manner.
The diversion route will be via Heywood Road, Ferndene Road, Peveril Close and vice versa.
The diversion route for HGV'S will be via will be via Heywood Road, Bury Old Road Thatch Leach Lane, Sandgate Road and vice versa.
Emergency access will be maintained if required, access will be available for residents in an evening and early morning.
The proposed Order will come into operation on Sunday 14 July 2019 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 12 months, (Anticipated duration of works - 4 weeks).

Ostrich Lane, Prestwich, from its junction with Bury Old Road to its junction with Green Walks - Temporary Road Closure
Beaufort Street, Prestwich - Temporary revocation of one-way working
The closure is in place to enable resurfacing of carriageway in a safe and practical
manner.
The diversion route for the temporary road closure will be via Bury Old Road, Scholes Lane, and Ostrich Lane and vice versa. Emergency access will be maintained if required, access will be available for residents in an evening and early morning.
The proposed Order will come into operation on Sunday 14 July 2019 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 12 months, (Anticipated duration of works - 4 weeks).
