ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 -SECTION 14 THE M56 MOTORWAY (JUNCTION 8 WESTBOUND ENTRY SLIP ROAD) [TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Highways England Company Limited (Company No. 09346363) has made an Order on the M56 Motorway, in the Borough of Cheshire East in the County of Cheshire, to enable resurfacing works, including the reinstatement of road markings and road studs, electrical loop cutting, and other general maintenance works; to be carried out in safety. The Order will ban all traffic from the M56 Junction 8 westbound entry slip road. The works are expected to be in place overnight between 20:00 hours and 05:00 hours (continuing to 07:00 hours on Saturday and Sunday mornings) during a period starting on Monday 29 January 2018 and ending on Wednesday 28 February 2018. However, work may start and continue between the same times on subsequent nights until completed. Diversion routes via alternative junctions of the M56 Motorway and local roads will be well signed.
The prohibition will not apply to emergency services, works, winter maintenance, or traffic officer vehicles; and will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
