PUBLIC PATH STOPPING UP ORDER TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 SECTION 257 AND PARAGRAPH 1 OF SCHEDULE 14 THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (LAND AT COLERIDGE AVENUE, RADCLD7FE, MANCHESTER) (NON DEFINITIVE FOOTPATH STOPPING UP) ORDER 2019 The above Order was made on 26 February 2019 under section 257 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990.

The effect of the Order will be to extinguish the full width of the non-definitive footpath at Ordnance Survey Grid Reference (OSGR) SD76940759 shown as Point A on the Order Map in an easterly direction for 72m between fences to a point shown as B on the Order Map at OSGR SD77010760 and then through a former garage colony site for 85m to terminate at its junction with Coleridge Avenue at OSGR SD77080759 shown as point C on the Order Map.
A copy of the Order and the Order map may be inspected at the reception desks at 3 Knowsley Place, Duke Street, Bury BL9 OEJ and the Town Hall, Knowsley Street, Bury BL9 OSW from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm Mondays to Fridays and one copy of the Order and map will be made available free of charge.
Any representations about or objection to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to the Head of Engineering, 3 Knowsley Place, Duke Street, Bury BL9 OEJ or by email to prowconsult@bury.gov.uk no later than 10 April 2019 stating grounds on which it is made. Please note that all representations received may be considered in public by the Council and that the substance of any representation together with the name and address of the person making it could become available for public inspection.
If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if so made are withdrawn, the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury may itself confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
