ROCK AND CROSS STREET, BURY) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING AND RESTRICTED LOADING AND UNLOADING AND LOADING ONLY BAY) AND (REVOCATION OF EXISTING

WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2019 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bury Metropolitan Borough Council proposes to make the above named Order under sections 1, 2, 4 and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers. The effect of the Order will be as follows:-

Introduction of Loading Only Bay (operational on all days at all times)

South Back Rock/Cross Street, Northeast side, from a point 10 metres Bury northwest of the north westerly kerbline of



Clerke Street for a distance of 14 metres in a

north westerly direction

Retention of No waiting at Any time & No Loading 8am - 6pm

South Back Rock, Bury South and west sides from its junction with



Cross Street/Clerke Street in a northerly and westerly direction to a point opposite the westerly boundary of no 64 The Rock (approximately 80 metres) South Back Rock/Cross Street, Northeast side from its junction with Cross Bury Street/Clerke Street to a point 10 metres



northwest of the northwest kerbline of Clerke Street

Northeast and northwest side from a point 24 metres northwest of the northwest kerbline of Clerke Street in a northerly and westerly direction to the westerly boundary of no. 64 The Rock

The Council also intends to revoke The Metropolitan Borough of Bury (South Back Rock, Bury) (Prohibition of Waiting and Restriction of Loading or Unloading) Order 1998.

Details of the proposals are in the draft Order (including the exemptions contained within them) plans showing the roads and areas affected and a statement of the Council's reasons for making the Orders may be inspected at the reception desk at 3 Knowsley Place, Duke Street, Bury BL9 OEJ during usual office hours, Monday to Friday.

All representations whether in support or objecting to the proposals, together with the grounds on which they are made must be made in writing and sent to the Head of Engineering, 3 Knowsley Place, Duke Street, Bury BL9 OEJ or by email to traffic(5).burv.gov.uk quoting ref: TM2/18/425 by 05 April 2019. Please note that all representations received may be considered in public by the Council and that the substance of any representation together with the name and address of the person making it could become available for public inspection. THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BURY (SEFTON STREET AND BURY NEW ROAD, WHITEFHCLD) TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF RIGHT TURNS ORDER 2019 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the Metropolitan Borough of Bury have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and of all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicles from turning as follows:-

The reason for the proposed order is to enable manhole frame and cover replacement

works to be completed.

The alternative routes will be as follows:-

Via Bury New Road, Pinfold Lane and Higher Lane.

Via Bury New Road, Bury Old Road, Barn Street, Bury New Road and Higher Lane The Order comes into operation on Wednesday 20 March 2019 and shall remain in force for a period of up to 3 months, although the anticipated duration of the works is approximately one night.
