MOSSLEY Soup is asking to local community groups, voluntary organisations, artists and individuals to dip in with a project idea they need bread for!

It can be anything from youth, sport or environmental to something creative or a new business start-up.

The only criteria is that the project has to be of benefit to the Mossley community.

Organisers are inviting groups and individuals to pitch their ideas at the fourth Mossley Soup community crowdfunding dinner, on March 8, at Emmaus Mossley.

For a donation of £5, attendees receive tasty soup, entertainment, hear four project presentations and then vote for their favourite idea.

Each presenter has four minutes to share their idea and answer four questions from the audience.

At the end of the night, the votes are counted and the winner goes home with all of the money raised to carry out their project.

The first three Mossley Soup dinners raised £670, £545 and £639 for each winning project.

To present your idea just complete a short project proposal prior to the deadline of February 15.

To submit a proposal online go to www.soup.the-vale.co.uk/apply/.

Mossley Soup - which is organised by local resident volunteers with support from Mossley Town Council, The Mayor of Mossley and Emmaus Mossley - aims to bring people together to promote, fundraise and support local projects that benefit the people of Mossley.
