A TEENAGER has been taken to hospital with hip injuries after a van overturned in the snow.
The 19-year-old man was travelling in a van with a 24-year-old man when the vehicle ended up on its side.
Both passengers managed to climb out of the vehicle after the crash at the junction between the A62 Huddersfield Road and Cross Street.
Watch manager at Oldham fire station, Phil Stephenson, said: "Due to the snowy conditions, they had lost control, hit the kerb, and the van had landed on its side."
The 19-year-old was taken to The Royal Oldham Hospital after the incident at 3.45am today but the 24-year-old is not understood to have suffered any injuries.
Mr Stephenson urged drivers to take care in the wintry conditions.
