SPORTY youngsters were lucky enough to net a coaching session with an international star.
Netball’s England Roses and 2017 Superleague champion with Wasps, Nat Haythornthwaite, delivered a coaching session at the Oldham Netball Club’s future stars holiday camp at The Oldham Academy North.
More than 60 children attended the event designed to develop skills their skills and give them the chance to play alongside a professional.
“It was fantastic to see so many youngsters at the camp and we were extremely fortunate to have Nat join us for the full day, sharing her knowledge and love for the game with the children,” said Tom Noke who organised the event alongside fellow future stars coach Sarah Brennan.
“We have recently had a surge in youngsters joining our weekly training sessions and it is great to see the sport becoming more and more popular.
“We train on Monday evenings at Waterhead Academy and Tuesday evenings at The Oldham Academy North.”
