A TALK will be given to inform families about the maternity services for pregnant women at the Royal Oldham Hospital.
Simon Mehigan, who is divisional director of midwifery and gynaecology, will speak with visitors
about the services at the Royal Oldham and North Manchester Hospital, which are both overseen by the Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.
In March this year, a report showed the maternity provision had been rated Good by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), having previously been Requires Improvement.
Mr Mehigan will talk about how the hospital trust is working to halve the number of stillbirths in England by 2025, in line with the Government's targets, and aiming to see that 20 per cent of mums-to-be receive continuity of carer by April 2019.
The talk will take place between 2pm and 3pm on Wednesday, April 4, at the education centre at the Royal Oldham.
To book a place, call Angela Greenwood on 01706 517302 or email membership@pat.nhs.uk.
