DETECTIVES investigating an attempted murder at Freehold Metrolink Stop are appealing for tram passengers to come forward.
As they continue to investigate the attack on a 49-year-old man - who suffered serious injuries - at the Chadderton tram stop in Block Lane on March 8, they would like to speak to passengers on the Rochdale-bound tram which stopped at Freehold before the incident.
Those on the Oldham-bound tram, which stopped during the incident, are also urged to contact detectives.
Four teenagers have since been charged in connection with the incident and remanded into custody ahead of appearances at Minshull Street and Manchester crown courts this week.
Anyone with any information should call Oldham CID on 0161 856 8972/9087/8427/8850/1382.
Alternatively, details can be passed on anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 11.
