OFFICERS investigating an attempted murder at Freehold Metrolink tram stop have called for tram passengers to come forward with information.
A 49-year-old man suffered serious injuries following the attack on the platform at Block Lane, Chadderton.
Four teenage boys have been charged in connection with the incident.
Detective have released an appeal for anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them.
Police want to speak with passengers on the Rochdale-bound tram which stopped at Freehold before the attack.
Those on the Oldham-bound tram, which stopped during the incident, are also urged to get in touch.
