PADDY WARD, aged 25, of Kelverlow Street, Clarksfield, was committed to prison for six weeks for “wilful and persistent failure” to comply with the requirements of a community order made following a charge of the theft of £590.18 worth of razors from Boots in Bradford. He was committed to prison for six weeks concurrent for breaching a community order made following the theft of clothing worth £236.91 from New Look in Bradford.

LAUREN DEAN, aged 24, from Pretoria Road, Oldham, was fined £99 for dropping a cigarette outside Huddersfield Train Station last October. She was ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £30 and £100 costs.

KELLY QUINN, aged 37, of Richmond Avenue, Royton, was sent for trial at Minshull Street Crown Court on June 26 to face two charges of indecent exposure, one of assault, a charge of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, two charges of possessing an offensive weapon and one of criminal damage.

ANTHONY STAFFORD, aged 32, of D and A Pallets, Union Street, Royton, was given a community order with an 80-hour unpaid work requirement for failing to comply with the unpaid work requirement of a previous community order which was made following a charge of being in possession of a carving knife and criminal damage in November 2016. He was ordered to pay costs of £60.

ADAM KANE MATTHEWS, aged 31, of no fixed address, was discharged conditionally for 12 months for stealing three tubs of baby powder to the value of £33.00 and baby milk worth £20 from Mccolls Newsagents. He was ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £20.

Ali AKBAR, of Hollins Road, Oldham, was fined £490, for managing an unlicensed house in West End Street. He was ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £49 and £675 costs.

MARIAN LEFTER, aged 30, Lee Street, Oldham, was disqualified from driving for two years, had his licence endorsed and was given a community order with a 120-hour unpaid work requirement for driving while over the prescribed alcohol limit. He was ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £85 and £85 costs.

MICHAEl HYNES, aged 35, of Longley Street, Oldham, was disqualified from driving for 18 months, had his licence endorsed and was fined £350 for driving over the prescribed alcohol limit. He was ordered to pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £35 and £85 costs. He was fined £65 for being in possession of a snap bag of cocaine.

JAMES THOMAS TWIST, aged 34, of Wood Park, Fitton Hill, was committed to prison for 17 weeks suspended for 24 months and given a supervision order for entering Linda Lewis Kitchen Ltd with intent to steal and caused substantial damage. He was ordered to pay £1,500 compensation.

ANDREW WARREN, aged 26, of Moorwood Drive, Oldham, was disqualified from driving for 12 months, had his driving record endorsed and was fined £200 for riding a motorbike while over the prescribed alcohol limit and without a licence.
