LILIAN Day has brewed up thousands of pounds of cash for Macmillan Cancer Support and she's about to put the kettle on once again.
Now preparing for her 15th World's Biggest Coffee Morning event on September 21, Lilian will be welcoming family, friends, and anyone who wants to support the cause and fancies a cuppa, to her home at 35 Pennine View, in Royton.
Between 10am and 4pm the charity stalwart will be offering coffee, tea and home-baked - cakes of which there's usually plenty of choice!
Lilian whips up around 10-15 delicious bakes, helping her raise around £300 everyone year.
She's also a staunch supporter of Children in Need and she will be staging her annual concert at Trinity Methodist Church, in Royton, in November, featuring the Voice choir and youngsters from Messy Church.
Over 30 years her efforts have raised over £30,000 for the charity.
