THE following cases have been dealt with at Tameside Magistrates’ Court.

SAMANTHA Ward, aged 22, of Manchester Road, Oldham, allowed the production of cannabis on her premises. A warrant was issued for her arrest.

ALGES Mane, aged 44, of Promenade Street, Oldham, was the subject of an application for the continued detention of £3,000 of seized cash on ground that it is recoverable property obtained through unlawful conduct. The application was granted.

JANICE Anderson, aged 59, of Densmoor Street, Failsworth, has been disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £210 for failing to provide a specimen of breath for analysis after being stopped by police on September 10. She must also pay £30 into victim services and £85 costs.

MOHAMMAD DILRAS, aged 24, of Main Road, Oldham, drove while disqualified in Main Road, on July 1 and without insurance. He must carry out 200 hours of unpaid work and pay £85 into victim services as well as costs of £85. He was also banned from driving for 16 months.

JACK Eves, aged 21, of Luzley Brook Road, Royton, drove a car on July 4 when the proportion of a a controlled drug, namely Delta -9- tetrahydrocannabinol, in his blood exceeded the specified limit. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 into victim services. Eves was also banned from driving for 12 months.

CRAIG Anthony Green, aged 32, of Tentercroft, Flora Street, Oldham, pleaded guilty to using threatening behaviour. He was fined £120, ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 into victim services.

SEAN Kewn, aged 19, of Milton Street, Royton, was fined £276 for drink driving on September 8. He was ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 into victim services. Kewn was banned from driving for 15 months.

MARK Anthony McAndrew, aged 38, of Rountree House, Manchester Street, used threatening behaviour. He was fined £120, ordered to pay costs of £85 and £30 into victim services.

PETER Ostasz, aged 20, of Shakespeare Road, Oldham, on July 17 drove a car in Grains Road when the proportion of a controlled drug, namely Delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol, in his blood exceeded the specified limit and with no insurance. He was fined £319and ordered to pay £85 costs and £31 into victim services. He was banned from driving for 12 months.

AYSHA Begum, aged 30, of Belmont Street, Oldham, was found guilty of allowing the transfer of household waste on to land at the rear of Ward Street, Oldham. She was fined £180, ordered to pay costs of £806 and £30 into victim services.

PETER Kelsall, aged 36, o0f Belgrave Road, Oldham failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates@ Court on December 5, 2017, by failing to attend four planned appointments. He was given a curfew requirement with electronic monitoring for three months, starting October 3, 2018, and must be at his home address between 7pm and 7am daily. He was ordered to pay £60 costs.

ADAM Richard Butterworth, aged 34, of Agecroft, Alt, caused £200 worth of damage to a woman’s window. He was given a restraining order in which he was banned from making any contact, directly or indirectly, with his victim. He is also prohibited from entering Park View, Chadderton or driving along it. He must pay £200 compensation and ordered to pay £20 into victim services and £85 costs.Butterworth was further given a 12-month conditional discharge for threatening behaviour towards a man. EMANUEL State, aged 20, of Cleeve Road, Oldham, used threatening behaviour and obstructed a police constable in the execution of his duty and drove a car without insurance. He must carry out 80 hours unpaid work, pay victim services £85 and £85 costs. ISMAIL Uddin, aged 31, of Trafalgar Street, Oldham, breached a non-molestation order made by Manchester County Court on July 21, 2017. He was ordered to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months and ordered to £85 into victim services and £85 costs.

DANIEL Robert Whelan, aged 26, of Great Gable Close, Higginshaw, took a motorcycle without the owner’s consent on May 31. He was ordered to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months and to pay £85 into victim services and costs of £100.
