CANCER charity the Blossom Appeal is hosting a special Blossom Coffee, Cake and Craft Fair on Sunday (October 28) at Saddleworth Museum in Uppermill.

All funds raised on the day, which runs from 11am to 3pm, will go to providing complementary therapies like aromatherapy massage and acupuncture for breast cancer patients at the Royal Oldham Hospital and North Manchester General Hospital.

Stalls will be selling jewellery, cards, cushions, candles and a variety of other stylish crafts and decorations for the home. A selection of delicious homemade cakes and sweet treats will also be on offer, as well as afternoon tea.

Charity chair Iris David said: “Acupuncture can be extremely effective in combating the effects of fatigue often experienced during and after chemotherapy treatment so we’re hoping to raise lots of money at the event.”

The perfect place to kickstart your Christmas shopping, the Fair promises to be a delightful way to spend a Sunday.

The Blossom Appeal is an independent charity which raises money for the breast cancer care units at the Royal Oldham Hospital and North Manchester General Hospital. It has raised over £200,000 for the breast care units since its launch in 2000.
