The Latics off-field issues have marred their season, with talks of player strikes due to unpaid wages hitting the headlines and Bunn’s number two Andy Rhodes departure Owner Abdallah Lemsagam released a statement saying “more changes at the club will be announced in due course”, and on the pitch John-Joe O’Toole and Kevin van Veen scored first-half goals either side of Sam Foley’s sending off for Northampton. Rob Hunt grabbed a goal back but it was a case of too little too late for the Latics and Bunn concedes the constant uncertainty doesn’t make things easy.
