Around 100 guests enjoyed mulled wine and festive treats at what was the third Lucy Cobb fashion show which has generated over £5,000 for Maggie's.

Leigh Roscoe Connolly from Lucy Cobb said: "Lucy Cobb is delighted to support Maggies Oldham, and so enjoyed hosting a winter fashion event showcasing our latest collections of clothes and accessories, just in time for the festive season.

"Thank you to everyone who attended and to all the amazing staff and volunteers who make Maggies the special place it is.

"We're so proud to help to raise much needed funds for such a worthwhile charity that supports our local community."

Laura Tomlinson, Maggie's Centre fundraising manager said: "Thanks so much to the team at Lucy Cobb who are so professional, so friendly and always such a joy to work with –they certainly know how to put on a great show.

"The fashion is always fabulous, they literally never fail, and there is always something for everyone.

"Also thanks to everyone who joined us on the day and helped us to raise over £1300 for Maggie's.

"All the money raised will help us to support more people with cancer, and their families and friends, whether that be for some professional advice, a friendly listening ear, a chat with others who understand how they're feeling, or a quiet cup of tea.

"Finally, a huge, huge thanks to our superstar volunteers, events like these really wouldn't be possible without all the love and energy they put into them and we're so lucky to have their support at Maggie's"
