THE following cases have been dealt with by Tameside Magistrates’ Court.

ANTHONY James Breame, aged 30, of Marion Street, Hathershaw, pleaded guilty to drink driving in Denbigh Street, Oldham, driving with no insurance and with no licence on September 11. He was fined £162 and ordered to pay £150 costs and £30 into victim services. He was also banned from driving for 20 months.

MILAN KANDRAC, aged 23, of Smyma Street, Oldham, failed to comply with supervision requirements following release from prison by failing to make contact with his supervising officer between October 19 and November 7. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

ABDUL Habib Ullah, aged 20, of Rowden Road, Holts Estate, Oldham, breached a restraining order by making contact with a woman. He was jailed for 12 weeks and ordered to pay £115 into victim services. DECLAN O'Neill, aged 21, of no fixed address, admitted assisting in the theft of a Hyundai car worth £4,000 in Oldham on September 27. He also drove the vehicle without insurance or a licence and failed to surrender to bail on October 25. He was fined £120, ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 to victim services.

ALAN Ryan Whitehead, aged 28, of Vincent Avenue, Oldham, is wanted by police after failing to appear on charges of the racially aggravated assault of another man on September 11. Whitehead has pleaded not guilty to the offence, but failed to answer bail. DENNIS Pauley, aged 50, of Stockfield Mount, Chadderton, failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates on September 21 by missing three appointments. Pauley’s order has now been varied and must participate in rehabilitation activity for up to a maximum of 17 days.

ALAM Uddin, aged 25, of Broome Street, Oldham, failed to comply with the requirements of a suspended sentence order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on March 23 by missing planned appointments on September 17 and October 1. He was fined £600, and ordered to pay costs of £60.

AL Amin, aged 18, of Lee Street, Oldham, failed to comply with a suspended sentence order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on September 11 by failing to attend appointments on September 18 and October 9. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

PHILIP Grimsdale, aged 46, of Oak Terrace, Oldham, failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates Court on August 2 by missing appointments on September 23 and October 10. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

ANTHONY Jess Hebb, aged 33, Wellford House, Oldham, failed to comply with a community order made by Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on July 28 by missing planned appointments on October 2 and October 9 and failed to keep in touch with the responsible officer between August 3, and October 10. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

RYAN James Horsfall, aged 19, of Astley Close, High Crompton, Shaw, failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on January 18 by missing planned appointments on September 25 and October 2 and failed to keep in touch with the responsible officer between September 25 and October 9. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

WILLIAM O’Connor, aged 48, of Hadfield Street, Oldham, failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on July 24, by missing planned appointments on September 6 and October 9. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

SQUIRE Bernard Hayes, aged 57, of Cemetary Court, Ashton Road, Oldham, was found guilty of drink driving on September 25. He was ordered to undertake rehabilitation activity up to a maximum of 10 days and was fined £50 with £50 and £85 costs.

JOHN Cheetham, aged 49, of no fixed address, admitted threatening a Greater Manchester Police call handler with damage to a police vehicle at Oldham. He must now carry out 50 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months and pay £85 to victim services. He had earlier been given a prison sentence of 20 weeks suspended for 12 months imposed for racially aggravated harassment. It was deemed that imprisonment for the breach was not appropriate because of the exceptional circumstances of the case.
