A WOMAN had to be rescued from a car after it crashed into the side of a building.
The crash happened in Britannia Road, Banbury, on Thursday night at about 10.20pm.
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service said the car crashed into the side of a building in Spencer Court.
No one inside the building was hurt but one woman in the car was injured.
The fire service did not say whether she was the driver.
Firefighters from Kidlington and Banbury used hydraulic equipment to cut the roof off the car in order to remove the woman safely. She was then taken to hospital by South Central Ambulance Service.
Thames Valley Police is now investigating the cause of the incident.
Crew manager Sean Dyer said: "Following a number of road traffic collisions throughout Oxfordshire and the Thames Valley over the past couple of months, I would urge drivers to be cautious and drive according to the conditions."
