Jordan Lyden smashed a long-range goal as Oldham came from behind to beat Cambridge United at Boundary Park after the visitors took the lead thanks to George Maris who scored a 25-yard drive after just seven minutes.
He should have hit the net again soon afterwards, but was denied by a great save from Alex Palmer.
On the hour George Edmundson made it 1-1 with a header then Jordan Lyden fired into the empty net from inside his own half on 76 minutes and Callum Lang sealed Oldham's win with his third strike in four games
