AN elite instructor who works in schools has launched an appeal to help track down his £19,000 car which was stolen just five days after he bought it.
Jonathan Waterhouse, aged 26, parked a gleaming Nissan Qashqai outside his mid-terraced home in St John’s Street, Oldham last night (Wednesday, November 28) at 9.45pm.
But when he got up to go to work at 6am today (Thursday, November 29) it was gone.
He bought the car with the registration number BT67 DZO from Westway Nissan less than a week ago.
Jonathan, who works for Commando Joe’s, a team of elite instructors who go into school to help children realise their full potential, told The Oldham Times: “I don’t know how they’ve stolen the car. It has a keyless fob and the latest security devices.
“I keep our fobs in our bedroom, so there’s no way it could’ve been cloned.”
Anyone with information should contact police on 0161 856 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
