THE image of Oldham child model and actor Abrish Khan will soon be beamed into the homes of millions of TV viewers when she appears alongside Hollywood star John Malkovich.

Eight-year-old Abrish Khan will be seen standing behind Malkovich, who plays Hercule Poirot in the BBC Christmas special, The ABC Murders.

Abrish, a pupil at St Thomas CofE Primary School in Lees, has been forging an early career in modelling.

She has done the catwalk at the Iconic Kidz show at the House of Ikons during London Fashion Week in Septemkber for the designer ME Clothing by Krissie Colton.

And Abrish walked for Be Unique Be You by Anne Wilkinson at Manchester Fashion Week at Victoria Warehouse on 12th November 2018.

She is walking in a fashion show in Sheffield on Saturday, in aid of the charity Cancel Cancer Africa. Abrish is the face of Jenny Martin Photography which is based in Mossley, and she is being supported in her modelling and acting aspirations by mother Amirah and dad Ahsan.

Amirah said: “Abrish is really hooked on modelling, and would like eventually to go into acting.

“We are spending a lot of time taking her to many events and it is difficult working it round her school time, as a family we believe it is worth it.”
