THE Oldham Choir has welcomed new musical director Dorian Kelly.
Dorian is well known in the choral world and is also musical director of Saddleworth Male Voice Choir.
The first concert under his direction will be the choir’s Christmas Concert on December 9, At St Edward’s RC Church, Spring Lane, Lees, starting at 7.30pm. The event is to support Macmillan Cancer Support.
Guests this Christmas are the Marsden Café Orchestra – a group of musicians who play accordion, concertina, banjo, mandolin, brass and percussion - directed by Simon Wood.
Tickets cost £7.50, including refreshments, available from choir members or on the door.
