POLICE officers investigating the attempted rape on a woman in Oldham have released images of a man they want to speak to.
Greater Manchester Police say they spoke to a man while officers were carrying out enquiries following a report of an attempted to rape on Featherstall Road, at around 4.15am, on August17.
They say they spoke to the man pictured while their body cameras were recording before carrying on with their enquiries.
Officers now want to speak to him in connection with the investigation and anyone who recognises him is encouraged to come forward.
Detective Constable Steve Gilliland of GMP’s Oldham Borough, said: “I’d encourage anyone who recognises the man pictured or knows who he is to contact us as soon as they can.
“Whatever information you have may be extremely helpful to our investigation.”
