SIR Norman Stoller CBE will be the guest speaker at the next Mahdlo Business Breakfast on January 17.

As one of the region's most successful businessmen and philanthropists, Norman will be sharing his fascinating personal and business journey story, from his time in the Air Force to leading the world renowned Seton Healthcare Group.

Guests will also hear more about his philanthropy through The Stoller Charitable Trust and his passion for "giving something back" and inspiring young people.

Starting at 8.45am at the Egerton Street centre, the event is free to attend and open to all business owners, leaders, managers, entrepreneurs and students from across Oldham.

Lucy Lees, deputy CEO at Mahdlo said: "We are delighted Norman has agreed to start our 2019 series of Business Breakfasts and share his incredible story with the people of Oldham.

"We are anticipating a packed audience and are advising guests to book well in advance."

Sponsored by Ideal Unified Communications the breakfast will take a Q&A format with Norman being interviewed by Mahdlo Chairman, Terry Flanagan.

Matt Dobson, managing director at Ideal Unified Communications said: "We are delighted to be sponsoring the Mahdlo Business Breakfasts for the next 12 months.

"There's more to supporting Mahdlo than seeing how your money is used to support young people, there are many benefits to your business as well and I'd encourage businesses of all sizes to get involved."

Claire Crossfield, development manager at Mahdlo added: "Huge thanks to our Matt for sponsoring the event and all our speakers who give up their time to enable us to run these events for free.

"However, as a charity we are asking if guests would consider making a voluntary donation of £5 upon arrival or at time of booking. This donation would be used to provide a year's free membership for a young person who in in care or who otherwise could not afford it."

If attendees have any questions they would like to be considered, Mahdlo are asking that they are submitted prior to the event by email to events@mahdloyz.org.

To register for the event or to submit a question, email events@mahdloyz.org or call Claire or Lucy on 0161 785 3862.

Opportunities to ask questions will also be available on the day.
