DR Kershaw's Hospice staff will definitely be raising a glass of festive cheer this Christmas thanks the kind-hearted and caring customers of Oldham's Mecca Bingo.
Mecca staff delivered a full house of Prosecco - 110 bottles to be precise - and boxes of chocolates for the hard-working hospice team which were donated by customers after they put a call out for their seasonal appeal.
Manager Jayne Farrand said: "It's a thank you for all their hard work, 365 days a year. A massive thank you to all the customers and staff who made this possible."
On behalf of all the overjoyed Dr Kershaw's staff, chief executive Joanne Sloan said: "This is a fantastic donation from Mecca Oldham.
"Our staff do not seek rewards but it is so nice when someone one recognises the work they do."
