LAW firm Pearson called on the services of Santa to help deliver the food parcels they've collected for Oldham Foodbank.
Boxes and sackfuls of goodies are now on their way to those in need over the festive season after staff at their King Street HQ and two other offices donated food and gifts.
Hearing that one in five of the UK population live below the poverty line, the firm felt they wanted to do their bit and have spent weeks collecting goodies, games, toys and Christmas treats.
Bridget Batty, communications and marketing manager for Pearson said: “I’m extremely proud of all of our team here as they really took the collection to their hearts.
"It’s so easy to get caught up in the hype of Christmas and it’s so easy to forget how fortunate we all are. We all like to treat our family and friends to extra treats at Christmas but for many families just having the basic supplies is a luxury.
"It feels good to be able to help others and that we could provide the Oldham Foodbank with not only much needed supplies but also to help them to give families an extra special Christmas too.”
