THE following cases have been dealt with at Tameside Magistrates' Court. A WARRANT has been issued for the arrest of Nicolas Paul Casey, aged 47, of Bamford Street, Royton, who has failed to surrender to bail at Tameside Magistrates’ Court on charges of assaulting a police constable on October 21.

OSMAN Tosum, aged 58, of Burnsall Grove, Royton, threatened police officers that he would damage their police vehicle, and was guilty of drunk and disorderly behaviour. He was conditionally discharged for 12 months and ordered to pay £85 and £20 into victim service.

HARRISON Brothers (Furniture) Ltd, at Unit 10 Belgrave Industrial Estate, Honeywell Lane, Oldham, failed to comply with a deduction from earnings order between June 6, 2018 and December 19, 2018. The company was fined £250 and ordered to pay £792.32 compensation and costs of £85.

LEWIS Collier, aged 29, of Fontwell Lane, Oldham, stole a DVD player worth £30 on December 5, 2017, and on January 2, 2018 and a hand held vacuum cleaner, ipad mini and Amazon Echo, together valued at £650 from Brian Collier of the same address. He was ordered to carry out 60 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months, and pay compensation of £685.

NOEL Christopher Denton, aged 36, of Brooks Drive, Failsworth, has failed to appear at Tameside Magistrates’ Court on charges of driving with excess cocaine in his blood, driving without insurance and with no licence. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

TIMOTHY Holland, aged 57, of Carrbrook Drive, Royton, drove without due care and attention in Oldham Road. He has been fined £338, costs of £85 and £33 into victim services.

LAYNE Hollingsworth, aged 22, of Burnedge Fold Road, Grasscroft, has been fined £250 and ordered to pay £85 and £30 into victim services for drink driving and driving with no insurance. He was also disqualified until he has passed his driving test.

JOHNNY Howitt, aged 26, of Clevedon Road, Chadderton, stole clothing worth a total of £899 from Next in Oldham on four separate dates. He must now carry out 80 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months and undertake rehabilitation activity for 10 days as well as paying £85 costs and £85 into victim services.

SHAUNA McCormick, aged 19, of Richmond Avenue, Chadderton, caused £30 worth of damage to a police vehicle and assaulted a woman by beating her. He was fined £50, ordered to pay £130 compensation, and £85 into victim services. He must also participate in rehabilitation activity for up to a maximum of 20 days.

JOSEPH Patrick Dervan, aged 30, of Eldon Street, Oldham, stole car keys worth £250 from a woman and failed to surrender to bail at Tameside Magistrates’ Court. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

TERENCE Burke, aged 33, of Hollins Road, Oldham, failed to ensure waste from her home was not dumped at the rear of Harrow Avenue, Oldham. A warrant was issued for his arrest. AARON Antony Hurst, aged 30, of Brooks Drive, Failsworth, was fined a total of £300 for driving with no insurance on April 3, 2018, and, following an accident in which injury was caused to a man, failed to stop. He was also ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 to victim services.

BRIAN Farrington, aged 32, of Partington Street, Failsworth, failed to comply with a community order made by Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on April 23, 2018, by missing two appointments and failed to comply with a supervision order following release from prison. A warrant was issued for his arrest.
