THE following cases have been dealt with at Tameside Magistrates' Court. CHRISTINE Oddie, aged 59, of Queensgate Drive, Royton, behaviour in a manner likely to cause a breach of the peace. Bound over to keep the peace for £100 for 12 months..

MOHAMMED Amaan Hayaat, aged 28, of Belmont Street, Oldham, has admitted drink driving, driving with no insurance and without a licence. He was fined £120, ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 to victim services. He was also banned from driving for 12 months.

DARREN Richards, aged 46, of Ripponden Road, Oldham, stole a purse and cash worth a total of £500. He was ordered to carry out 120 hours of community service in the next 12 months, and ordered to pay £650 compensation and £85 costs.

BAAL Singh, aged 33, of Chancery Walk, Chadderton, was drunk and disorderly in Palace Road, Ashton on November 27. He was given a conditional discharge for six months and order to pay £20 into victim services.

AARON Peter Wrigley, aged 32, of Deanshut Road, Fitton Hill, drove while disqualifies and without insurance and dishonestly received a Peugeot 208 car, knowing it to be stolen. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

A WARRANT for the arrest of Joseph Adam Patrick Moss, aged 33, of Broome Street, Oldham, has been issued after he failed to turn up at court, after pleading not guilty to using threatening bahviour towards a man and a woman on November 7, 2018, and thefts of a bottle of spirits and a bottle of alcohol from Sainsbury’s at Oldham, on August 7, and August 20, 2018.

AMY Lea Pelling, aged 26, of Hanson Street, Oldham, has failed to answer bail after pleading guilty to causing £150 worth of damage to a kitchen window belonging to Yale Housing Association, assaulting a man by beating him, using threatening behaviour at the Royal Oldham Hospital and assaulting an emergency worker. A warrant was issued for her arrest.

JAKE Hussain, aged 22, of South Hill Street, Oldham, has failed to answer bail on charges of possession of cannabis. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

NAFEESA Nazalee, aged 34, has pleaded driving a vehicle which did not meet insurance requirements. She was fined £40 and ordered to pay £30 into victim services and costs of £50. MATHEW Wayne Mould, aged 27, of Wesley Street, Failsworth, drove with cocaine in his blood. He was fined £163 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £32 to victim services. He was banned from driving for three years.

JORDAN Jackson, aged 23, of Fontwell Lane, Oldham, caused £300 worth of damage to a woman and used threatening behaviour. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

SHAHID Ullah, aged 26, of Osborne Street, Oldham, stole electrical items and other goods worth £30,000 from DPD. He was given a 26-week prison sentence suspended for 18 months and ordered to pay £1,805 compensation.

A 21-YEAR-old man has been jailed for a total of nine weeks following a string of thefts in Oldham town centre.

Joseph Thomas Snape, of Ashworth Court, Shaw, stole a handbag worth £120 from TK Maxx on December 23 and fragrances worth £82.50 on January 3 from Boots, both in Oldham.

He also stole fragrances worth £130 on November 29, and two perfume sets worth a total of £95 on November 27, both also from Boots.

He was jailed by Tameside magistrates because the offences were committed during the period of a suspended sentence. He must also pay £115 into victim services.

Snape has also been given a criminal behaviour order prohibiting him from entering Oldham town centre for two years.

Original offences he was given a suspended sentence for included assaulting a woman by beating and contacting her when he was prohibited from doing so by a restraining order.

LEA Craddock, aged 23, of Rochdale Road, Oldham, stole tooth whiteners and fragrances worth a total of £395 from Boots in Oldham on November 18, 2018.

She also failed to surrender to custody at Tameside Magistrates’ Court on December 13. She must undertake rehabilitation activity up to a maximum of 20 days and pay costs of £85 and £25 into victim services.

DAVID Mathew Johnson, aged 34, Kingston Avenue, Chadderton, has been found guilty at Tameside Magistrates’ Court of assaulting a woman by beating at Oldham on February 24, 2018.

He also caused £40 worth of damage to a wall at her home. Johnson must participate in rehabilitation activity up to a maximum of 20 days and carry out 100 hours of unpaid work within the next 12 months.

He must also pay costs of £620 and £85 into victim services.

ANTHONY Taylor, aged 51, of Hollinall Street, Greenacres, stole groceries worth a total of £1,678 from Tesco at Oldham on December 6, 7 and 17, 2018.

Tameside Magistrates Court ordered him to pay compensation of £1,041, and gave him a three-week jail sentence suspended for 12 months.
